Peeking Through
There’s something about that first glimpse of blue through a tangle of leaves — the way light filters in, the way your eye catches a shape before your mind fully names it. Peeking Through captures that quiet, in-between moment.
At the center, a fatsia leaf emerges from a softened field of golden greens, as if sunlight has gently parted the foliage just long enough for you to notice. Hand-applied gold detailing traces the contours, creating a subtle shimmer that shifts as the light changes — like nature revealing a secret only when you pause long enough to see it.
Created using the historic cyanotype process, this piece carries the depth and richness of true Prussian blue, layered with painterly washes and botanical forms. The interplay of organic shapes and metallic linework feels both grounded and ethereal — a reminder that beauty often lives just beneath the surface.

Care Instructions
All original artwork is sealed with a varnish to protect against dust and dirt. To further protect cyanotypes from darkening, display artwork away from direct sunlight.
To remove dust, use a soft, dry brush (such as a sable makeup brush) or a microfiber cloth. Start from the top and work your way down. Do not scrub or use abrasive materials, as this will damage the artwork.
