A joyful and energetic composition of coastal ferns and leaves twirl across  18" x 24" premium quality watercolor paper. This art features visible brush marks which add texture and story to the piece, revealing the painterly process it went through -from maritime forest to art for your home! After exposure, I bleached a section of the art to bring out soft beige and cream tones, and painted a delicate gold accent line - a nod to the Japanese art of kinsugi and its philosophy of seeing strength and beauty in the imperfect and organic.
 
This versatile piece can be hung in any orientation and is shipped matted in a simple white mat, un-framed. The images illustrate a few ideas for different ways it can be presented.
