Botanical cyanotype on silk layered over a cradled birch shadow box with a second coastal cyanotype and marine elements nestled inside. The effect is an artwork with depth you can look "into", revealing different elements from each viewpoint. This artwork measures 16x16x1.25" unframed and is gallery wrapped in cyanotype silk chiffon so it does not require framing. If you choose to frame it, I recommend a floating frame. It can be hung in any orientation. I will wire and hang it in the collector's preferred orientation.  Every cyanotype is produced using a 180-year-old camera-less photographic process, where sunlight permanently records the silhouette of living plants.
